Maider Gómez is a forest engineer and holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences. She is a researcher since 2006 and dedicates her research at the CIRCE Institute to biomass resources assessments, Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental impact assessment and feasibility studies for the development, demonstration and assessment of energy generation from energy crops. She carries out her PhD work currently on energy crops potential assessment from an agronomic, economic, energetic and environmental point of view for energy generation. She has participated in several projects on biomass resources assessment and environmental impact assessment and is currently actively involved in the EuroPruning work packages related to soil management (WP7), environmental assessment (WP9) and development and implementation of a new and non-existent logistics chain for biomass from pruning (WP3). She has also participated in WOODE3 project (MED-Programme) as consultant to the public agency of environment of the Aragón government. She accounts seven scientific communications and publications.
